We believe the question is as important as the answer.
Insight Flow exists to close the gap between what researchers want to know and the quality of data they can actually collect. We build survey tooling for the people who understand that methodology matters.
Make high-quality research accessible to every team.
For too long, rigorous survey methodology was the exclusive domain of academic researchers and large market research firms with expensive specialist tooling. We're changing that.
Insight Flow packages decade-level survey science — question design best practices, branching logic, normalised response storage, carry-forward, piping, statistical testing — into a product that a product manager can use on their first day and a PhD researcher can rely on for published work.
The platform handles the complexity. You focus on asking the right questions.
Data integrity above all
We believe good decisions start with clean data. Every feature we build — from normalised answer tables to page-by-page saving — is designed to ensure the data creators collect is as accurate and complete as possible.
Surveys for every respondent
We build to WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 — not because we have to, but because our users' respondents include people with disabilities, on slow connections, and on every device imaginable. Accessibility is not optional.
Respect for cognitive load
Every interaction with a survey — for creator and respondent — should be intuitive and low-friction. We take the complexity of branching logic, theming, and analysis and hide it until you need it.
Privacy as architecture
Respondent PII is never used for advertising. Survey data belongs to the creator. We offer HIPAA compliance, SSO, and audit trails because enterprise organisations cannot afford otherwise.
Built by people who've felt the pain.
Every person on this team came from research, data, or product backgrounds. We built Insight Flow because we needed it.
Miriam Schultz
Co-Founder & CEO
Former Head of Product at a leading market research firm. Built survey tooling for a decade before deciding the market deserved something better.
Kwame Asante
Co-Founder & CTO
Previously principal engineer at a data infrastructure company. Designed the normalised response schema that powers Insight Flow's analysis engine.
Lena Fischbach
Head of Product
UX researcher turned product leader. Obsessed with the gap between what people ask and what they mean — which makes her exceptionally good at designing survey tooling.
Dr. Amara Osei
Head of Research
PhD in survey methodology from UCL. Spent eight years in academic research before joining Insight Flow to make rigorous survey design accessible to every team.
Tomás Varga
Head of Data Science
Builds the statistical models behind Insight Flow's significance testing, cross-tab engine, and NPS benchmarking data. Formerly at a global analytics consultancy.
Yuki Tanaka
Head of Design
Interaction designer focused on form and clarity. Responsible for the design system, the survey theme engine, and the conviction that a beautiful survey is a better survey.
Adaeze Nwosu
Head of Customer Success
Built and scaled the customer success function from first hire to a team of 12. Personally onboarded over 200 enterprise accounts.
Lars Eriksen
Head of Security & Compliance
CISSP-certified. Led HIPAA compliance programmes at two health tech startups. Oversees Insight Flow's security architecture, pen testing programme, and enterprise agreements.
From a frustration to a platform.
The frustration
Miriam Schultz spends 18 months using every major survey platform on the market for a large-scale customer research programme. She keeps a running list of everything that could be better.
The prototype
Miriam meets Kwame at a data infrastructure conference. They spend three months building a prototype that solves her list — particularly the problem of survey branching logic and data integrity under concurrent edits.
Seed funding & first customers
Insight Flow raises a $2.1M seed round. The first 50 paying customers are recruited directly from market research communities. Product-market fit arrives faster than expected.
Series A & enterprise launch
A $14M Series A funds the engineering team needed to build enterprise features: SSO, HIPAA compliance mode, quota management, and a dedicated account management function.
10,000 teams
Insight Flow crosses 10,000 active teams. The platform has processed over 20 million survey responses. The research function, led by Dr. Amara Osei, publishes its first annual State of Survey Quality report.
AI survey generation
The AI survey builder launches — allowing creators to describe their research goals in plain language and receive a structured survey with suggested question types, wording, and logic. Adoption reaches 40% of new surveys within six months.
Global scale
Platform infrastructure moves to a multi-region architecture. Insight Flow surveys are now taken in 140 countries. The 48 millionth response is collected on a Tuesday.
